Instructions on How to Purchase Permits

Before making a permit purchase, you will be required to create a new account or log into an existing account.

If you do not have a login ID, you may create a new account here.

If you already have an account, you may log in here.

  • To purchase a permit, select ADD PERMIT in the upper right of the Permit/Active Permit section. All three requirements can be completed here.
  • To add a vehicle for future changes or purchases, select ADD VEHICLE in the upper right of the Vehicles section.
  • To upload or update your proof of residency, select ADD PROOF in the upper right of the Proof of Residency section.

Permit Purchasing Requirements

  • One permit per vehicle, linked to the license plate.
  • No outstanding parking tickets on the vehicle.
  • Required documents must be uploaded.

- Hollywood Residents

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Beginning Wednesday, October 1, 2025, on-street public parking spaces at the following locations will transition to paid parking:
    • Taylor Street (between Federal Highway and 21st Avenue)
    • Jackson Street (between Federal Highway and 21st Avenue)
    • 17th Avenue (between Polk Street and Johnson Street)
    • Polk Street (between Federal Highway and 14th Avenue)

    To support residents in these areas, the City is launching an annual Residential Parking Permit Program.

    Key Details:

    • Permit Fee: $25 per year
    • Limit: 2 permits per household
    • Eligibility: Residents must provide a valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and proof of residency (e.g., property tax bill, voter registration card, utility bill, or signed lease).
    • Part-time residents who own property in the area may qualify with documentation.
    • Note: Residents of large multi-unit rental properties are not eligible for this program.

- City-Wide Resident Permit ($175/year) – Valid for beach metered spaces, beach garages, and downtown permit areas. Driver's License and Vehicle Registration must show a Hollywood address.

If not, upload one of the following in the purchaser’s name with the Hollywood address:

  • Residential Tax Bill
  • Lease of 6 months or more (notarized)
  • City of Hollywood Water Bill
- Lakes Resident Permit ($25/year) – For designated Lakes Resident Community areas.

All documents must show a Lake address participating in the Lakes Residential Parking Program.

Driver's License and Vehicle Registration must show a participating Hollywood Lakes address.

If not, upload one of the following in the purchaser’s name with the participating Hollywood Lakes address:

  • Residential Tax Bill
  • Lease of 6 months or more (notarized)
  • City of Hollywood Water Bill

- Resident Meter Rate (Free) – For city-operated meters at Hollywood Beach. This rate is 50% less than the non-resident rate of $3.00 per hour Monday through Thursday and $4.00 per hour Friday through Sunday and on holidays. 

Driver's License and Vehicle Registration must show a Hollywood address.

If not, upload one of the following in the purchaser’s name with the Hollywood address:

  • Residential Tax Bill
  • Lease of 6 months or more (notarized)
  • City of Hollywood Water Bill

Employees & Businesses

- Employee Permit ($35/month) – Valid in upper floors of beach city garages, certain city lots, and downtown long-term permit areas.

  • Required Documents: Driver’s License, Vehicle Registration, and Proof of Employment in Hollywood (e.g., recent pay stub or notarized letter from employer).

Non-Residents

Guest Monthly Permit ($110/month) – Valid for beach metered spaces, beach garages, and downtown permit area.
  • Required Documents: Driver’s License and Vehicle Registration.
